Godišnji Proto Awards označio je i nagradio najbolje što je VR industrija ponudila u proteklih godinu dana. Googleov Tilt Brush završio je kao ukupni pobjednik.

Ove godine održao se treći po redu Proto Awards, zasjenio je konferencuju Oculus developera „Connect“. Cilj je da proslavi i nagradi najbolje od ove nove i dinamične industrije, te da prikaže sve zanimljivosti i novitete koje ona pruža.
